Yritys – haluatko työllistää ukrainalaisen?
Yrityssalo auttaa ukrainalaisia löytämään työpaikkoja Salon alueelta. Yrityssalon Kateryna Pinchuk auttaa ukrainalaisia ja salolaisia yrityksiä löytämään toisensa. Jo lähes sata Salossa asuvaa ukrainalaista on kertonut meille aikaisemmasta työhistoriastaan ja osaamisestaan.

Ukrainian talents living in Salo
All Ukrainians are gifted and talented. Everyone in own way. We saw that by talking to people from our behalf by interviewing them to help to find a right job according to their interests. Interesting fact is that we have many males and females, people of various group ages, backgrounds and knowledges. They all have huge motivation to work, are open-minded and to live a happy life. General information about Ukrainians
To begin with we want to share some general information about them. Most of the people who came here are females (they have different kinds of backgrounds) with children. We have also males but is very rare happening because males from 18 to 60 years old are not allowed to leave the country. So, we assumed that those who are here left the country before 27 of February (from 27 was the law of not leaving), or they are fathers of 3 and more children, belong to groups of profession that is allowed to leave, were not able to serve the country because of the health state.
Cooperation is on going
There are already 8 companies that have managed to find Ukrainian employee, and several are in progress. We are doing cooperation with social organisations: Anna Tukesi, HelppoSalo, TE-toimisto, Salon Ammattiopisto, Edusalo, Suomen Uusyrityskeskus, Suomen Yrittäjät and other recruiting companies like Bolt, for example.
Main barriers
For Ukrainians and companies one of the main barriers is the language skills. Ukrainians usually speak Ukrainian, Russian, limited for them is the English language. But than as a company we are proposing Ukrainians the courses of Finnish language. One of the solutions is proposed by Edusalo, Työpaikkasuomi , group of 20-25 people 70 % is covered by government and 30 by the employer himself.
Another issue is transportation to the working place. Most people don’t have drivers’ license and the public transportation is limited. They want everything to be fast, but fast is usually not the case. More time takes the process than they would like to.
Why to help Ukrainians?
To place this thing correctly, we are all struggling, war touched everyone. But we still have something what is motivating us to continue life in normal way. Normal way is because war at least is not happening in our country. But is important to not forget that meanwhile we are carrying on our normal lives here in Finland, going to work, universities, raising children in Finland there are other people.
People who came to our country, hoping to find support from us, possibilities to continue. They are the ones who are protecting the European values, they are shield which every day is securing our today. They deserve so much the better life, better possibilities for the feat they are doing for own nation.
By employing Ukrainian to companies every company will win. Because Ukrainians understand the true meaning of hard work, that nothing fells from the sky, they are motivated and always fighting till the last breath to achieve their aims. 2. Täytä sähköinen Yrityssalon lomake. Kun lomake on täytetty, Yrityssalon tiimi etsii avoimeen työpaikkaan sopivat kandidaatit ja mikäli sopiva osaaja löytyy, sopii rekrytoinnin yksityiskohdista yrityksen kanssa.
3. Avoimet työpaikat kannattaa ilmoittaa TE-palvelun avoimet työpaikat osiossa. Muista laittaa UKR2022 -merkintä, niin työpaikka ilmestyy maksutta ja automaattisesti Töihin Saloon sivustolle. Kirjoita työpaikan kuvaus suomeksi ja englanniksi
