A free international growth program for startups to expand into EU markets with AI support and expert coaching. The program is in English, and application period for the Spring 2026 batch is open.

Mistä on kyse?
Tavoite: Keskisen Itämeren alueella skaalautuvasti kasvavien yritysten osuus on matala (2–4 %) johtuen rajallisesta kansainvälistymisosaamisesta, rahoitusvajeista sekä heikosta datan hyödyntämisestä. Tekoälyn roolin kasvaessa ja datan omistajuuden muuttuessa yhä kriittisemmäksi, yritysten on uudistettava liiketoimintamallejaan ja kiihdytettävä digitaalista transformaatiotaan pysyäkseen kilpailukykyisinä.
Konkreettiset toimenpiteet: Konkreettiset toimenpiteet: GSAI vastaa startup-yritysten kansainvälistymisen ja tekoälyn hyödyntämisen haasteisiin tukemalla niiden tehokkuutta ja kannattavuutta. Ohjelma kokoaa rajat ylittäviä kasvuryhmiä ja tekee yhteistyötä kumppaneiden kanssa Suomessa, Ruotsissa ja Virossa vahvistaakseen skaalautumista ja luodakseen pitkäjänteistä arvoa.
Työpajojen, markkinavierailujen, sijoittajatapaamisten ja kohdennetun valmennuksen avulla startupit kehittävät käytännön valmiuksia kansainväliseen kasvuun ja oppivat integroimaan tekoälyn liiketoimintaansa.
Tulokset: Ohjelman jälkeen startupit ovat vahvistaneet osaamistaan EU-markkinoille laajentumisessa, syventäneet ymmärrystään tekoälyn hyödyntämisestä, kehittäneet innovatiivisuuttaan sekä vahvistaneet kansainvälisiä verkostoja ja kumppanuuksia.

Growth and Scaling Through AI | GSAI
-ohjelma etsii kasvuhaluisia startup-yrityksiä eteläisestä Suomesta!
Seuraava haku helmikuu 2026
Ohjelmaan valitaan mukaan 5 startupia kustakin maasta, yhteensä 15 startupia. Ohjelman kesto on 9-10 kk ja se sisältää neljä intensiivistä sprinttiä eri maissa, markkinaselvitysmatkan EU:n alueella sekä lopuksi pitchauksen sijoittajille.
Ohjelma on maksuton mukaanvalituille startupeille. Hankevaroin maksetaan osallistujien matkat ja majoitus (2 hlöä/startup) ohjelman mukaisesti sekä yksi markkinaselvitysmatka. Ruokailut ja päivärahat ovat omakustanteisia. Ohjelma on englanninkielinen; suurin osa materiaaleista on siksi englanniksi.

1. Scaling Launchpad
The art and science of scaling. Assessing the opportunities to scale up internationally with scalability diagnosis and formulating strategy.

This is an open online event for startups to understand the fundamentals of AI and define the AI challenges.

4.Growth Essentials
Target your market and go on a market discovery mission! Third sprint will focus on growth hacking, sales, team and productivity, and AI progress report

Final sprint! It’s time to scale – and pitch in front of investors. Wrap up your GSAI journey by consolidating your learnings and presenting your business to key stakeholders.

Program Q&A
How long is the program duration?
Each batch of the GSAI program is 9-month long. The second batch is from May 18, 2026 to February 3, 2027. During this time, the startups travel to location mentioned in the program to participate in intensive 2-day workshops ”sprints”.
Who qualifies for the program?
Startups younger than 7 years (included), that have a team and have developed a product-market fit in their home country (in this case: Finland) and now look to enter their first market within the EU-market, can apply for the program. The program and workshops are carried in English language. From each partner country 5 startups will be selected making total of 15 startups in each batch.
What happens during the program?
If your startup is selected for the next cohort, you will choose 2 people from your startup team to participate in the sprints. It is recommended to check the dates of the program with your team’s availability. After ”Growth Essential” sprint in Tallinn, your team will go for market discovery mission to a selected potential market. The last sprint will take place in Salo, where startups share their experience of market discovery and pitch to investors.
How much does the participation cost?
The GSAI program is co-funded by Interreg Central Baltic in participation of project partners Movexum (Sweden), AI Sweden (Sweden), Tehnopol (Estonia), and Yrityssalo (Finland). For startups the program covers the costs, included travel and accommodation costs. Thus, it is free of charge.
When to apply for the program?
